  1. i usually stay in the smaller casinos downtown. the minimum bets are comfortable for me (the cheapest bet I saw on the strip was like $1 slots, vs. 1 cent or 5 cent slots downtown.) Of those downtown, I got the most comps from the fremont (pens, caps, etc.) and the golden nugget (free buffet for 2 every night.)

  2. I like Caesars Palace, also The Riviera & Circus Circus, thats where I usually stay cause its cheap.

  3. The big B,  for the craps.    limits are a bit higher than i like but I have won all five times I played there.

  4. I'm a primarily low limit player, so I tend to stay away from the ritzier casinos like Caesar's Palace, Bellagio, etc.  I like Blackjack primarily, and my comfort zone there is a $10 minimum.  I may play more than that, but I don't like to be forced to play more.

My favorite casinos are the ones that I feel comfortable in.  Casinos where the dealers and pit bosses are friendly for the most part and the atmosphere isn't stifling.

For these reasons, I like New York, New York; the Hilton; and my favorite,  Hooters.  Before anyone says anything about that last one, I like the Hooters casino for three main reasons.  One, no matter what time of day that I go in there, I've never had an unfriendly dealer.  In every other casino I've been to with the exception of NY,NY, I've had at least one dealer that just made me want to get up and leave.  Two, Hooters is a small, casual casino where they don't sweat a lot of the uptight rules that most other casinos have, so the atmosphere is much more relaxed.  Three, I always seem to win there, which is the best reason of them all.

NY,NY and the Hilton are both kind of specialty casinos for me.  I like NY,NY for their Pai Gow tables, and I go to the Hilton for the Star Trek Experience with a little gambling on the side.
