I've heard of london walks, the big fat bike tours, and the big busy company. Others? Any suggestions?

  1. Do the Duck tour. The bus tours are good, but they're really, really expensive - I don't know if they're worth the money! Hx

  2. the big bus company is pretty good, i think you can hop on and off and that way you can really stretch your ticket. it's a good way to get around the city as well.

london walk's is brilliant, my mum went for a couple of their tours and she loves them. that one is about 7 quid for one tour which lasts a couple of hours. the walks are good if you have more time to spare, because they tend to go more into detail into each particular place. if you're a first time traveller to london, i think you might prefer to take in the main sights first before delving deeper into the city's history. though i would suggest the jack the ripper walk? that one's in the evening. i would go for that one if i weren't such a scaredy cat!

i haven't heard of the bike tours...can't cycle anyway lol. the traffic in central london is pretty heavy actaully, so i suppose you might need to be a strong and confident cyclist to attempt that one?

all the best, and enjoy your trip to london!
