Which look is better, Retro or Prep?

Im trying to see which one i should dress like the most im kinda a retro, prep, vintage, skater type and i need to no which one is best.

Be preppy its better.....When your 'emo' or w/e a lot of people dont like you. But be yourself, dont be a poser.

Me and my preppy ways are natural....I cant help wearing name brand's and polo shirts and acting preppy..
