Which makes more money, a naval architect or a marine engineer?

A Naval architect would probably make much more money than a marine engineer.

You can get education and training to be both, but I can't see how you can do both simultaneously -- you are either going to be on a boat/ship  at sea doing your engineering job, or you are going to be on land in an office designing the latest ship or portion, thereof.
