i'm 18, and i have dry skin and some pimples , but i don't conider them acne because, i kind of almost stay clear until i apply some c**p from cvs on my face lol , ok soooo i also have some acne scars that i'd like to cover up, so i'm kind of debating between 2 foundations, so either the professional one, or bare minerals. The professional one, i saw it on hsn and it really impressed me, because it was sweatproof and waterproof which is a huuuge plus, because my makeup looks gross during summer. and it is made of 80% water, so there is a big chance it won't break me out, right? But bare minerals....i heard that it contains some ingredient that can make you itch and break out, what are your experiences? And i have tried some mineral makeup before (it was from cvs ...no wonder i didn't like it lol) and it DOES NOT cover red spots like liquid foundation does, so i'm worried that bare minerals will not cover everything, i will have to use concealer and blah blah, in my opinion, then more layers you put on your face them more you will break out, right? anyways, what would you pick, the liquid professional one, or the everybody's favorite (or is it?) bare minerals? Please never mind the price, i am willing to invest in good makeup. thanks guys!!! here are the links--->

  1. I currently signed up to sell Avon, and I really don't have that much experience, but I have tried somethings that work.

Avon's Smooth mineral make up is amazing. I have blotchy red skin after I shower, but that stuff makes it disappear in an instant.   I'm sure there are other products they sell that would work for your completion. Take a look.

you don't have to buy from me.   you can go directly to the Avon site and they can find you a representative close to where you live.

  2. Neither, Laura Mercier has a fantastic starter kit out exclusively at Sephora and they are a much more highly aclaimed brand than make up for ever. Personally, i love love love bare escentuals. Like seriously. But sweetheart, no matter how natural somethng is if your leave it on your face w/o washing it it'll break you out. Just yesterday  I slept in my bare minerals and got the tiinnnniiiiest breakout ever which went away in like one day. And this is because bare minerals is ground reeaaallly fine. A drugstore brand would have the same effect except worse, if that makes sense. Bare minerals just gives you a reeally glowy skin look. I invested in my first jar when I was like 13 at my mall and I cannot use any other make up ever ever again. Why mess wih a good thing? It works fantastic, coverage wise and everything. However, you'll need to invest in a good brush as well. The too faced kabuki here, isn't it cute??? and it is portable.  http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jh...

Go to www.everydayminerals.com. I just ordered a kit and am sooo pleased. They have a free sample kit and they're deluxe kit gives you 12 huge items for 50 dollars. Their foundations are really glowy- just like bare escentuals and they have amazing blushes, bronzers, eyeshadows, and all sorts of good stuff.

If you are on a budget. At http://hardcandy.com/categories/TakeOut.... there's a great take out kit I saw at sephora for 25 dollars and featured in seventeen not as an ad a few years ago and now it's on sale for 12. . . you must must must get it . I have it and the eyeshadow colors (8) are the cutest! There's two shades of concealers, 8 lip glosses and 2 lip brsuhes, two eyeshadow blushes, an eyeliner brush, and eyeliner, a mini mascara, a neutral bronzer, a nice shimmey blush all for 12 dollars. It comes in the cutest package too and the products are really high quality. I love love love it. even though i got it when it was 25 and they sold it at Sephora.

  3. I personally use the bare minerals and love it. I don't have a problem with itching or acne. As for your pimples I suggest you make sure you wash your face in the am and before bed. I use oil of olay I know most ppl think it's for old ladies but it is never too early to care for your skin.

  4. Try  Physicians Formula or Almay, both can be bought at the store. If all fails, I like bare minerals, but make sure you wash your face well, and use a nonhypoallergenic moisturizer such as Cetaphil ( it has never caused my sensitive skin any problems0 use under makeup. most of us think we need makeup and we really don't.

  5. if u need to cover up some acne and scars go for a MAC concealer and foundation also look for non comedgenic and non acnegenic products  MAC is a very good brand used buy a lot of professional and I personally love the brand
