i'm sure this martial art doesn't exsist but let me tell you my situation. there is this guy who is bigger than me at my school and he keeps picking on me and asking me for fights. i am quite strong but if i just tried to use boxing against him he would kick the s.h.i.t out of me.

so i need a martial art that can protect me from his punches, can take him down and put him in some hold so i have control over him.

i don't want 5 years to learn something like karate. i want 4-6 months to learn a martial art so i can beat him. plus i live in London so any martial art is avalible to me.

so SERIOUSLY can someone tell me what martial art i should choose. (if there is such a special one)

  1. Lua- The Polynesian art of bone breaking

  2. try judo i have heard its easy to learn or wrestleing not sure if thats in england i know they have it alot in america

  3. Brazilian Ju-Jitsu.

  4. i was gunna say Bruce Lee's jeet kune do. since u said the guy's lot bigger than u than u should learn sum brazillian jujitsu off youtube, it's very effective.   this site should hlp u http://www.ultimatejujitsu.com/learn-juj...                the kimura lock and triangle choke r my favourite submissions. i do them a lot to a friend who's twice my size, and he jus cant get out of the chokeholds.    btw. while u on that site. try n learn all the positions. like 'full mount' and 'guard'.  once ur got the full mount, therez noway he can fight bak. jus do that MMA ground n pound on him.

  5. I think Taekwondo is best for its focus on self-defense and the technique of using your opponent's force against him. You can, even in just half a year, quickly learn a couple of good techniques that are useful in fighting someone larger in size.

  6. You said it ur self- take him down then establish a good position on him then punch his face till it cant blink.

I take Judo and Brazillian Jiu-jitsu. With judo there is no possibility of the guy defending himself once you throw his *** hella hard on concret.Plus judo has pins+chokes(and armbars for black belts)

Judo is highly competitive so ur gonna get stronger/stamina/used to going against larger&stronger-dudes

  7. You are not going to fully learn a martial art in 4-6 months.  The best thing to do is to avoid fighting.

  8. mma, go to the gym, crotch shot, knife him, or snitch him out.

  9. any kind of jui jitsu, just learn the basic positions and hold(arm bars, triangle chokes, kimuras etc. it will help when fighting some1 bigger and if this guy is a really good boxer learn some muay thai so u can confuse him with some kicks elbows and knees, judo is good for tripping him down but judo takes longer than jui jitsu to leanr

  10. Krav Maga

    That stuff is brutal!
