  1. in my opinion i think they all are very effective but i think aiko would be te superior then jujitsu then taekwondoe

  2. If I were you, I would try one lesson of each one to decide. Come and see who is instructor and do YOU personally like the training proccess or not.

  3. Ok I see the UFC nut riders such as James are out in force. Disregard their answers because chances are they don't even train, they have just jumped on the bandwagon and want to feel important.

I am figuring since you listed those 3 styles it is because that is what is available to you, and you probably don't have Muay Thai or Brazilian Ju Jitsu where you live, a fact that seems to escape all of the little UFC fans and posers out there.

Be aware that Akido takes anextremelyy long time to get to the point where you can really use ieffectivelyy. TKD can be an excellent art if taught traditionally, however there are many sport only oriented schools out there, but despite what James says TKD is not useless. Japanese Ju Jitsu is a fairly well rounded style.

My suggestion is to search for questions on finding a good school on here, what to look for and what to look out for. There are many good answers on here.

visit each school and watch at least two classes and see how they stack up against the list.

Choose the school with the best instruction atraininging methods.

Understand anyone that slams other styles such as James aautomaticallycrecommendsnds BJJ or Muay thai probably doesn''t even have the guts to train. Most experienced people will tell you exactly what i have.

  4. no one style is better than the other. in different situations your plan of attack changes according to the attacker. every style has its strengths and weaknesses so no pros or cons. try hybrid martial arts

  5. maybe you can take MMA class (mixed martial arts) or you pick two classes :

    1. take class in ground fighting, my suggestion is Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. For more detail check this site out

    http://budisblogjiujitsu.blogspot.com

this brazilian jiu-jitsu club can teach you stand up fighting too..

    2. take class in stand up fighting, my suggestion is Muay thai.

with your workout in this 2 classes

  6. Aikido is good!! You use the opponent's force to bring them down

  7. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, top notch in ground game.

Tae Kwon Do is a joke, sport martial arts.

    Aikido. No, do Muay Thai.

Muay Thai or BJJ, either is sufficient.

Btw, if you are looking for real life help, jiu jitsu is almost impractical. Take up Muay Thai.
