  1. while fox news slants right, they are basically the only news outlet in the U.S that does so, cnn tilts left and msnbc is so far left they can't even see strait, in no way can a network broadcast keith olberman and claim to be centrists, bill o'reilly not even as biased as olberman

  2. Definitely FOX News. A lot of people believe that George W. Bush only won the 2000 election because FOX reported that he had won Florida. News Corporation has many influential prints and broadcasts, including FOX in the US, Sky in Australia, and The Sun/The Times in the UK.

  3. Definitely not Fox News - at this point they're considered one of the most obviously biased news outlets in the US.

Influence on American politics really means influence on undecided voters.

The majority of US voters have already decided, for various reasons, on whether or not they're going to vote for McCain or Obama. The winner of this election will be determined by which of the two candidates gets the majority of the undecided voters.

Undecided voters span all class and education levels, so they get their information from various sources.

In answer to your question - when anything major happens in the US, most people watch CNN to get information, so CNN will likely have the most impact on this election because that is the most likely place undecided voters will get information.
