Which medicine do you personally recommend for headaches?

I always take BC powders for mine and it does wonders. My headaches will be gone in about 20 minutes if I take them.

Preferring natural cures, I say white willow tea and lots of water.

For store-bought, Simple aspirin is best.

I take Aleve. It works every time for me. Aspirin, advil, Tylenol and Motrin  don't really work for some reason but Aleve does. It stops ached and pains and headaches, especially headaches from hangovers!

I like Excedrin migraine, even just for a regular headache, it works really fast, 15 min or less

Despite testimonials, when they're compared head-to-head, OTC pain relievers all work about the same on a general population. It's nice to have choices, since individuals do vary, but if something's perfect for you, that's distinctly NOT a reason to recommend it to somebody else. I generally recommend acetaminophen to start, because it has the best safety profile.

Advil works. Coca Cola works a lot of times. Sometimes water works.

BC doesn't help me at all it seems.
