  1. Lord Louis Mountbatten

  2. Louis Mountbatten, The 1st Earl Mountbatten of Burma attended Cabinet Meetings but he was never a Member of the British Royal Family simply an in-law of the Duke of Edinburgh which placed him in a favourable position with the government and his impeccable knack for diplomacy especially during the Suez Crisis of 1956 when Sir Anthony Eden enlisted him to deal with Egypt; and ever since his marriage to the Queen; HRH Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh has been a Privy Councillor and has been permitted to attend Cabinet.

HRH Prince William of Wales is to learn the inner most workings of the British Government when he takes an internship with Privy Councillor and Conservative Prime Minister 1990-1997, The Rt Hon. Sir John Major and also Prince William will be working at the Foreign Office.

So in answer to your question, HRH Prince Charles, The Prince of Wales was the first member of the current British Royal Family to attend Cabinet when he was invited by Labour PM James Callaghan. Although, no member of the Royal Family is ever allowed to express an interest or view in Politics and so I would say no member of the Royal Family has attended Cabinet on more than one occasion.

  3. I am not sure how Louis Mountbatten gets to be called British royalty. He was very close to the family and uncle to Prince Philip, but he was not royalty.

    - I think that Prince Charles was the first (possibly only) member of the royalty to attend a cabinet meeting. The royal family is supposed to be a-political.
