  1. In order of who's the most influencial and why...

    1) Jimi Hendrix - possibly the best guitarist ever.

    2) A tie, between Jim Morrison and Kurt Cobain. Both two of the best lyricists of all time. I don't think there's a 'better', they're just different.

    3) Janis Joplin - great singer.

    4) Brian Jones - was in Rolling Stones, but not quite as good as the others.

My favorite - Kurt. I love his songs and his voice.

  3. imo, hendrix is the most influential...he revolutionized the way the guitar is played, and in that way left a bigger mark on music than any of the others on your list

    in order:

    1. hendrix

    2. jones

    3. morrison

    4. cobain

    5. joplin

    favorite from each:

    jones- paint it, black(played sitar)

    hendrix- purple haze

i can't stand janis joplin, sorry

    morrison- people are strange

    cobain- smells like teen spirit

  4. 1. Jimi Hendrix - Changed the face of guitar forever and for many to follow.

    2. Jim Morrison - Influenced many with his stage performances and persona.

    3. Kurt Cobain - Brought grunge to a widescale audience and his death was pretty much the death of grunge.

It's kind of a tie between the two, but..

    4. Janis Joplin - Being a woman of rock, unique voice.

    5. Brain Jones - Well, just because it's the Stones man. Haha

At the minute these are my favourite songs..

    1. Hey Baby (New Rising Sun)

    2. Runnin' Blue

    3. Rape Me

    4. Summertime

    5. Under My Thumb

  5. 1. 3 - Co-founded one of the best bands ever and was a talented multi-instrumentalist, but may be more legendary for his short life and wild public image. Love him on the electric dulcimer and recorder in "Gomper" from Their Satantic Majesties Request.
