  1. You should by a metro ticket into Paris for the first part of your trip. THen buy a 5 day 6 zone metro pass. You might be returning to the city if your flight is canceled. Make sure your pass includes the RER Trains because you will need it to take many out of Paris Excursions like back to the airport or to Versailles

  2. if you plan on staying only in Paris, just buy a pass when in Paris (zones1-2)

    to go from Orly to Paris, 3 ways:

    - OrlyVal+RER.B : fast but OUT Of PRICE => don't do

    - OrlyBus : maybe 7 euros, longer but a good way to see Paris.

    - local buses : really long but the cheapest...

  3. Buy a single ticket from Orly to Paris when you arrive and another single when you go back on the Wednesday. Then buy a "carnet" for your rides in Paris. That costs 11.10 euros for 10 tickets. If on any particular day you are planning to make more than four rides, then you can buy a one day pass for 5.40 euros. If you are under 26, there is also a cheaper one day pass for Satudrays or Sundays. If you are going to Versailles, just buy single tickets for the trip. All this will work out far cheaper than a  tourist pass.

  5. If you actually mean a metro pass and not just a metro ticket than the answer is that you shouldn't buy a pass.

    I assume that you will not be staying in a hotel by Orly airport. (If you are then change your hotel and find one in central Paris).

    To get from Orly into Paris take the Orlybus, which goes from Orly-Sud and Orly-Ouest to the métro/RER station at Denfert-Rochereau.

    Hours of operation are 5:35 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., with departures every 15-20 minutes, and travel time is about 30 minutes.

    The one-way Orlybus fare from the airport to Paris is €5.80

    Paris is a very compact city and walking is generally a preferable way to get places. For that reason a metro pass may not represent a savings.
