Which middle name sounds better?

Question

I recently posted a question regarding a middle name for the name Abrihet and received some helpful suggestions. As I posted before, my baby is due in 3 weeks and I'm having a girl. My husband and I have chosen the name Abrihet (pronounced ah-bree-et). It's an African name meaning " "she emanates light". Our last name is Harper.

I like Abrihet Elise whilst my husband prefers Abrihet Rose. I don't think Abrihet Rose Harper flows well however I am heavily pregnant and not thinking very rationally! Which combination sounds best and can you offer any alternative, meaningful middle names, preferably two syllables ending in el or elle...Thanks, again.

Abrihet Elise Harper flows better because it is three syllables-two syllables-two syllables as opposed to the three syllables-one syllable-two syllables that you get with Abrihet Rose Harper.

Well, first of all I congratulate you on your pregnancy. Second of all, I  think Abrihet is a lovely name. And third of all, I like Ava. It means "like a bird" and sounds nice if you ask me. Abrihet Ava Harper. Or, if that doesn't suit you, there is Elaine. Abrihet Elaine Harper. It means light, which is like the meaning of Abrihet. I hope this helped!

I really like Abrihet, although I don't like the spelling. I think people would spell it and pronounce it wrong. I like it better spelled Abriette. That's just me though.

Of the two you listed, I prefer Elise.

Going from the "et" in Abrihet and the 'el" in Elise is kind of a tongue twister, but so is the "ri" sound to the "ro" sound in Abrihet Rose-- I would say since you cannot come to an agreement with the middle name, scrape both and start again...

my suggestions... Abrihet Aurora or Abrihet Kiara (which means dark, dark and light :) )

Abrihet Elise Harper sounds absolutely gorgeous. It flows beautifully and sounds very classy, elegant and feminine. I love it. Rose is a very common middle name, usually known as a "filler" name. Although I think Rose is very pretty I'd have to say that it does not flow well at all. Congratulations and best of luck with your baby girl!(:

Abrihet Rose Harper sounds good. It flows well.

This might sound really lame, but you got to remember that she will be addressed by the initials of her first and middle name. You must choose initials which go well too. And AR sounds better than AE.

Abrihet is a lovely name. My parents gave me a beautiful name, and every-time I fight with them and I think they do not love me, I correct myself that they do, because they have given me this beautiful name. :)

Yeah I really don't like 'Rose'.. sounds like a dog or something.. maybe I'm crazy..

But I've always thought the name 'Elise' sounded really pretty. And it goes well with the name you have there.
