Which middle name to choose?

Boy, I'm having the toughest time finding a good middle name for Jacob that I can stick to. My last name is relatively short so I thought of using a longer middle name. Tell me what you guys think -- Jacob Alexander or Jacob Benjamin? Do you think the latter sounds a bit too religious? (Benjamin was the son of Jacob)

Hmm...although I prefer the name Benjamin over Alexander I feel that Jacob Alexander flows the best.  I don't think it is too religious in that Benjamin was the son of Jacob.

I love Jacob Benjamin. they are both biblical names, but they are both nice names and i don't think it is too religious.

I've always liked Alexander. Also, if your child does not want to be called by his first name, Alex is a nice alternative rather than Ben.

My little brother's middle name is Jacob, but his first name is Charles. Charles is his father's family's name. They all have Charles as the first name, but J names for middle names: Joseph, James, then Jacob.

Jacob Alexander - it flows better. You are Jeff K. is the K for your last name?  If it is, his initials would be J.A.K. (looks like Jake, short for Jacob.)

I agree with what Karen H. said about Jacob Benjamin, it doesn't flow right. Sounds kind of weird and hard to say.

I always read you do not want the last letter of the first name to be the same as the first letter of the middle name...such as Jacob Benjamin.  It will sound as if the two names are stuck together.  Like my friend named her son Tyler Robert and it drove me nuts.

Just something to think about.
