I'm going into my senior year at high school, Im wanting to go to college before going into the military. I've wanted to join the air force as a officer because I love to fly and the feeling of taking off. Also though I cant sit in a plane while other americans are fighting on the front line. Either way I want to become an officer, lead people, and fight for our country.

  1. If you go into the Air Force as an officer, and you love to fly, why not become a pilot?  You might be able to become a fighter pilot, and provide close air support and help save the lives of the other americans fighting on the front line.  And btw, pilots have very dangerous jobs, flying over the war zone.

  2. I'd STRONGLY encourage you to follow through with your dream in the Air Force. I have a cousin that was accepted into the USAF Academy. The college degree opens doors upon your initial commitment. Think about the feeling of accomplishment, when a enlisted man/woman salutes you. As an officer, you can expect that. Also, Navy is notorious for its aircraft too, if you don't mind sea life from here and then. Good luck and God bless in any decision you decide to embrace

  3. I would join the air force the have the best conditions for both living and working (my husband is in the army), but you would most likely have to go to college first to become an officer. Talk to a recruiter about an ROTC program.
