Which mono amp is best for driving 2subs -1000w each ???

if it is possible to connect 2 subs to 1 mono .which is best out of class A,B,C,D amp

  1. the above systems are called bridging , you do lose some power by doing this . but it does work . class d mtx is the best bridgable amp . or find a great used kenwood to run properly . good luck


  2. yes you can just wire the subs together. so that way you just one set of speaker wire coming out of the box. the best amp is d because it does not stress to much on your electrical system. there are some bd amps which are pretty good but d is the best. here is a website so you can wire your subs together you just have to choose whether they are dual voice coils or just one.

  3. my brother-in-law ran his off a mon amp before he took the positive off of the amp and ran it to one sub and then took the negative from the amp and ran it to the second sub. then run a wire from the negative of the first sub to the positve of the next sub.
