Which month is better to travel to Jamaica- Aug or Sept?

We are planning our wedding and to cut costs for our guests we wish to travel in one of those 2 months. We know its the rainy season but just how rainy is it? What time of day do you recomend we hold our beach ceremony? FYI- our resort is in Montego Bay :) Thanks in advance!

my hubby went right around thanksgiving week.when we were there it never really rained but mostly very slow mist.for me best time for ceremony probably fairly early eve.by the way it was my hubby & me.couldn't go without me! ha!
