What is your weight, Size, have you ridden a bike before if so what kind. All the questions I asked is a good starting point.

If you like power and dont mind the weight get a 450F

If you weigh between 130 and 160 pounds a 250f will work great

As for model, every company makes great bikes, I perfer a Suzuki

yz125 2 stroke dirtbike or some sort of 4 stroke dirtbike if 4 stroke is what you like, but definalty something on dirt!
