  1. Honda Gold Wing/ Valkyrie/ Rune  The flat engines with opposed cylinders run smooth and don't stress themselves.

They  eat Messershmidts for breakfast.  That's moderately exciting, though no big stretch.

  2. The smoothest motorcycle is a six-cylinder.  That means a Goldwing or a Valkyrie (both have the same engine).  They are also water-cooled which adds to their smoothness and refinement.  But these are huge beasts and not for everyone.

BMW used to be the most reliable and most luxurious but I really think the Japanese brands have caught up.

  3. In my experience I think that Goldwing has the smoothest ride, and it also very reliable nike. BMW is also known for its durability, but I don't think that the ride is that smooth.

If is just for a debate, you choose, if you are planing to buy one, go with Honda definitely

  4. I have the BMW, the smoothest bike I ever own.

  5. each manufacturer makes more than one model, and each model has its own purpose.  every manufacturer makes a smooth riding motorcycle, they all make a reliable motorcycle (except harley), they all make at least one unreliable motorcycles, they all make slow bikes, they all make fast bikes.

a motorcycle, like any vehicle, is a compromise of performance, reliability, and comfort.  each model focuses on a different priority

  6. I've owned a lot of bikes over the 32 years of riding....Honda by far is the most reliable, they're all expensive when they go wrong but I found Honda's to be the least likely to break.

PS I ride a Harley now (1st one) ...... never had any problems in the 4 years I've had it.

  7. Honda and Kawasaki

  8. Smooth = boring. My car is smooth, thats good.  My Hog rides like a Lincoln and sounds like a Messerschmitt, that too is good.

  9. if it's a sport bike then it would have to be a honda cbr 600 rr

  10. BMW by far - but it's also the most non-motorcycle feeling motorcycle out there. Honda Goldwing is on the bulky side but a Goldwing has thee perfect feel if you like bikes that cruise long distances and don't wanna wear out your buns.
