Which motorcycle would win in a race?

Okay, which bike would win in a race. The 250 Ninja or the Harley 1200 Roadster?

The bikes you are talking are not really racing bikes.

You would get a better response in "Cars & Transportation"> "Motorcycles"

what kind of race?  If you are talking about a drag race the 250 ninja will win

It is closer than you think, the 250 Ninja gives a quarter mile time of 15.5 sec. While the Harley 1200 Roadster gives a quarter mile time of 13.5 seconds. Two second difference. I still root for the Ninja cause it looks a lot better.

on a track like Brands Hatch, the 250 ninja of course cos the Hardly Worthitson would be wallowing round like a bull on acid...

depends on the rider's experience... but I would have to say the roadster long distance, ninja short

I work in a Harley shop and one of the kids in the back has a 250 ninja. Every time we go to lunch or go home it's a drag race. Robert has a 1200 sporty and TaTa has the ninja. Robert wins every time. I'm not being biased. I like metrics and American. Also, I wouldn't rule out the sporty at track day too. You would be surprised at how nimble they are.
