Which mountain bike to get?

Question

Im basically getting a bike to 1)get to and from school and 2)to go on some trails and downhill some times....well my two choices are these...keep in mind i dont need the best bike but just a decent one for cheap(im a college student.....looking at these 2 because i dont want to spend more than 60) my 2 choices are these

I think that I would get the mongoose it's a good company, I've never heard of the other so maybe its good but I would get the other. I think that trek makes the best bikes thats what I have but they are pricey

yeah, go for the Mongoose since it is a name brand and may have name brand components on it. If you are picking it up, give it the once over. Make sure it is in decent shape or you will spend more on replacing tires, tubes, cables, etc. than you will buying the bike.
