My mom and I are going to see a movie and we have decided that we should either see the Dark Knight or Momma Mia but the only problem is we both haven't seen the other Batman movies so i am not sure it makes a difference. So i am wondering which movie is worth seeing?

Thanks in advance!

  1. The Dark Knight

Momma Mia was a bunch of c**p

  2. hmmm...mamma mia

  3. The Dark Knight

  4. uh... which made more money. probably dark night.

  5. On my opinion, both are worth watching, but if you really want my perspective, I think The Dark Knight is what you should go see first, the acting was so professional, the plot made sense and taught us about things about heroism and mainly because Heath's last performance was the best (aside from Brokeback Mountain.)

Mama Mia is also nice, but I'm just saying that The Dark Knight is worth spending $6 on plus snacks.

  6. the dark knight, i don't think you really needed to see the other movies.

i haven't seen mama mia though, but the dark knight was really good.

  7. How old are you because the dark knight is quiet scary in parts, but iv seen both and i would definatly go and see the dark knight.

  8. Its a little obvious....

  9. It depends on what you're in the mood for...light musical comedy, or dark comic book action.  :)  Have fun!

  10. It depends on what kind of movie you like. I havn't seen Batman Begins but I thought Dark Knight was pretty good. Mamma Mia is also good, It depends if your in the mood for a musical/comedy or for action. If your going with your mom I'd say Mamma Mia because its a good mother daughter movie

  11. dark knight!!

but mamma mia is more of a mothere daughter movie!!

    but its a musical so!!

    yeah!!

  12. I went to see both movies and I can say, without a shadow of a doubt, that The Dark Knight is by far the better of the two movies.

I thought Mamma Mia was terrible - absolutely ridiculous and a complete waste of time - that's ninety minutes of my life that I'm not getting back!!  The whole movie was a tired parody of a musical and an utter waste of Meryl Streep's talent as an actress. The only character I didn't want to throw things at was Bill because all the others were just insanely annoying!

The Dark Knight was brilliant though - it's actually a long film but you don't notice the time going, it's that good (unlike Mamma Mia in which each minute was unbearably slow).  The Dark Knight combines brilliant performances from Christian Bale and Heath Ledger with an interesting plot that really keeps you on the edge of your seat.

If you have to choose between the two films then don't miss out on seeing The Dark Knight on a big cinema screen - it's worth it!!  If you still want to see Mamma Mia then I would wait and rent it on DVD.

  13. Mamma Mia

  14. go watch both of them and then come tell me

  15. dark knight
