Which movie is this?? scary movie...on tv a few weeks ago...?

it was on fox on a saturday. i only say parts of it but it started with a kid who lived on a farm and he was in a corn field and the scarecrow in the field was this monster thing that flew off with him and killed him. then it showed a bus returning form a high school football game and the "thing" throws a thing made out of claws or something and blows out the tires twice. a girl on the bus has a vision/dream about the creature and one of the victims says it only feeds every 23rd year for 23 days...
