Which movie should I see...?

Hey everyone, so I'm taking my girlfriend out on our first date tomorrow, and I was wondering which movie to see. I've got it narrowed down to Pineapple Express and Tropic Thunder. Suggestions?

ive seen both of them

and personally i liked pineapple express wayyyyy better

that movie is hilarious!

tropic thunder was funny..but i was expecting more from it

it got sort of boring in some parts..

so yeahh pineapple express is a way better choice =)

I died of laughter in that movie.

Plus, it's my favorite movie!! :)

i've seen both and tropic thunder is hella muthafucken funny!!!

i mean pineapple express is hella funny too but for a first date i would say tropic thunder, you will be laughing the whole time!!!!!

A) Don't ask us....ask the girl. That is what a gentleman does. You say, "well what movie would you like to see tonight? I was thinking maybe Tropic Thunder or Pineapple Express, unless you have something else in mind? "

B) In my experience, a raunchy s*x comedy is a bad choice for a first date. Something like American Pie can make someone feel uncomfortable if they are with you on a first date...they might feel pressured to do things they don't want to do just yet.

C) As a general rule, unless you have known this girl a long time, don't go calling her your girlfriend until you've been dating for a while.  It can make the girl feel like she is being taken for granted, or is just your arm candy. I lost a really great girl by making that mistake in college.

pineapple express is great if your in the mood for a comedy!

and on the other hand, tropic thunder is great for action

I watched both and both were just ok.

If you like stoner humor then watch Pineapple Express. I, personally, can't relate so it didn't really do much for me.

To me, Tropic Thunder was funnier by a slight margin but both were only worth the price for a dvd rental and not my ten bucks!
