Which mp3 players are the loudest, and best sound quality? Creative Zens, or Sonys?

Loudest and Best Quality are generally opposites.

in terms of ease of use, quality and availability of tracks and cross system compatibility its iPod.

if you want LOUDEST and average Quality its Zune!

personally I'd recommend iPod.

remember each player needs a player/installer program to work in parallel with it for the ipod its itunes and MUST be used with the ipod. dragging and dropping does NOT work!

ZEN. ALL. THE WAY! Plus, if you want your music louder, just download MP3Gain. I use it for my Zen. It's great! Increase the volume of all your music with a drag and a click, with very little decrease in sound quality.

Sony or Creative.

If you want a quality product, in terms of functionality, battery life, user friendliness, go for the Creative. I have one and cannot fault it. If you want to be "fashionable", get an iPod. Def not my cup of tea. Dont have experience of Sony.

Take some decent headphones and listen to some mp3 players, decide for yourself asto the one you prefer.

Microsoft Zune is probably the most amazing MP3 player I've had out of any brand.

But if you were going to compare Creative and Sony, I'd go creative. I've had nothing but bad experiences with Sony software, sound quality, and the sort.
