Which muscles do I need to develop in order to improve my front crawl (swim stroke)?

  1. just swim that stroke a lot and the muscles needed will get stronger.  there are paddle type things that you can use too that will help.


  2. the best thing you can do really, is swim.

    if you really want to improve it, work on pulling with your forearm with your hands cupped and bending your elbows as they go into the water. also work on turning side to side in the water, even having one shoulder out of the water while stroking. it keeps there from being a lot of drag.
