Which museums in France are free?

I have heard that several museums in France will be free for the next few months. Does anyone have a complete list of all of these museums? Thank you very very much :)

All museums are free on Sundays!!!!

The LOUVRE is currently 9 euros ($ 15.00/ day).

This is unquestionalby the best ONE STOP museum on the PLANET and easily worth the cost.  I can't help you on FREE museums. Not aware of any!

These are some of the museums which will be free for the next 6 months :

- Guimet (asian arts)

- The Abby of Cluny ( Middle Ages)

- Saint Germain en Laye (archeology)

- the Chateau of Ecouen

- the National Renaissance Museum

- Jacques Coeur (situated in Bourges)

- Porcelain museum (situated in Limoges)

- the Chateau of Oiron ( in Deux Servres).
