Which name do you like best for a girl?

Margaret "Maggie" Kay

Claire Margaret

My first daughter's name is Keira. Obviously we're going for the Irish names!

Which do you like best and why?

Aerin Marie is cute but I can see you want to use Margaret in the name, how about Margaret Mae, Maggie Mae for short. That is adorable.

Margaret "Maggie" Kay.  I like the name Maggie for a little girl!  It's the most Irish out of these name too, imo.

(Claire is cute, but I'd avoid K-sounds, b/c of Keira.  Annemarie and Margaret are both really cute name, but together a bit too long.)

I like Margaret "Maggie" Kay, because I think no matter what name you give a kid, someone ends up shortening it anyway! I also like Annemarie Margaret, and I would like Aerin Margaret with a different spelling of "Aerin", like "Erin"!

Absolute love Maggie Kay.  I just like the sound of it.  You could also call her Meg or Meggie.

I like Claire Margaret.  Claire and Keira both start with the "K" sound, which would be cute.  Also, I'd rather have Margaret as a middle name than a first name since it's kind of an older sounding name.

Hmm. I like Aerin Margaret, but it's a little too close to Keira, in my opinion.

What about Margaret "Maggie" Claire? I'm not overly fond of Kay, that's the only reason I'd suggest it. Maggie is the quintessential Irish name, and it works well with her sister's name.

Claire Margaret is nice, but it doesn't flow as well as Margaret Claire.

Annemarie is sweet, but a bit more French-sounding than Irish, to me. I would also spell it out as Anne-Marie, because it IS two names, and it looks a little awkward when they just run together like that.

By the way, what is Keira's middle name?

I like that one best because I hate double names like Annemarie, personally I think just pick one, don't name your child both. I kind of like Aerin but its very out there and people might not know what it means, also I just plain and simply don't like Margaret, mostly because the nick-name sounds weird and can be rhymed with lots of things to make it easy to be picked on for.

Claire Margaret. Please think of your child and not just what you like. What girl would want to be named Margaret as her first name and maggie for short? Annemarie once again same think and aerin yes is both a girls and boys name but it really just sounds like a boys name.
