I would rather name my child after a famous photographer (Dorthea) than some dumb cartoon, so do Dorthea, besides it's more unique and it sounds nicer.

I personally don't like either because Dorothea sounds like an old lady name and Dora reminds me of a Spanish speaking little girl.
