  1. I like them both, but I'd go with Jack.

  2. John!

  3. I'd go with Jack

  4. I love the name Jack ... i'm expecting a boy in Dec. and we're debating between going with just "Jack" or doing John/Jonathon as the official name and using Jack as the nickname.

It is nice to have the versatility of John; when he grows up, he can then choose to use John for business/formal occasions.

  5. John - nickname Jack :)

  6. jack!

just because every other guy i know their name is john lol

or you could spell it jon

  7. neither, both two common, but i would i say john. i like them though

  8. Can't Johns have the nickname of Jack?

  17. jack!

  18. OMG i love the name Jack i think John is to popular dont you?

  19. I LOVE John.  Jack is a nickname for John, which I've never understood.  So, John.

  20. JOHN   its a good choice

  21. Jack is a more 'current' name, but with the name 'John', Jack is a nick name.  So if there is a family reason you'd like to go with John (ie it's your dad's name), you can still call the baby, "Jack" if you like.

  22. Jack better for a first name

John better as a middle name

  23. Jack! I think it sounds a little more modern than John, and I just like the sound of it better!

    Good luck!

  24. John

The name Jack is ok, but it sounds so much like Zach and Jake... which can be really confusing to anyone in a school setting.

Jack, however, can be a nickname for John... You can name him John, and call him Jack later, if it suits him...

  25. Hmm...I would say Jack!

  26. that's hard b/c i really like them both!!~..but i'd pick John over Jack...it's not that common anymore, but it's a classic, strong name!!~...i really like it!
