Which name do you prefer: Abraham or William?

Either Bram or Liam (or MAYBE Wil).  Only versions of those names I could live with...otherwise, too common.

we had two names for our youngest. Benjamin and Samuel. when he was born we knew instantly he was a Ben and not a Sam. It reall depends on the kid.

Neither but if it must be one then William. It has nickname options and it's a pretty normal name.

William.  Abraham is definitely cool, but it's so much associated with the President and the Biblical patriarch, it's hard to get away from that image.  Might work good as a middle name, though.  As an alternative, Abram is pretty cool!

Abraham, although a very noble name if you're churchy will be the stuff of teasings in high school.  Guaranteed.

William... a little common but not as bad as Michael...

I say William all the way, Abraham is a nice name and all and sounds very religious, which for you may be a good thing, but like the person above me said I think he might be teased alot in high school about it. When you say Abraham I immediately think of Abraham Lincoln

William, but Abraham actually sounds pretty cool, and if you want to go with a riskier choice, that would be an awesome name.  I like the sound of the nickname Abe, which could be pretty cute on a kid these days.  Biblical names are really in right now anyway, and Abraham would be different, in a good way lol.
