Amelia. Ella sounds like a stuffed animals name and Alexandra reminds me of a stuck up girl at my school. But Amelia is very pretty.

I like ella or alexandra. ella is so simple and alexandra, if she doesn't like it when she gets older, there are so many nicknames to choose from.

well it all depends, if it is going to be alexandra, what would you call her.  if it is Amelia, hwat would you call her, and same for Ella (although i assume Ella)

  

all of those names are adoreable, so it is hard to pick one.  

i think (in order) it would be

Ella

Amelia (in an extremely close second)

Well... a lot depends on the last name, but my vote goes to:

Amelia.

It has cute nicknames galore (Mimi, Amy, Mia, Milly, Lia, Mee-lee).

It has a great name sake (great female pilot Amelia Aerhart)

It is old fashioned with lots of history, but with definate modern appeal (similar but less common than Olivia, Ariana, or Sophia)

It has a good meaning = hard-working

I think Alexandra and Ella are nice too, but there are so many Alexes nowadays and Ella is nice but not as strong as Amelia.

Amelia - Mia is such a great nickname, Watch The Princess Diaries, her name is Mia all the way through until she officially accepts the role of princesss - Amelia is very strong and noble
