    All these people saying its unique - its not, its a very old fashioned name.  I know two 50+ women named Zillah.

    What about Aliza (uh-LIZ-uh) or Alyssa. That's sorta like combining both names.

  16. Go with Alison. I'm all for unique names, but lets face it...the kids are definitely going to call your child Godzillah.

    Allison is too common. I went to high school with FIVE Allisons, and our graduating class only had 56 girls. I also know a little girl named Allison, and 3 pregnant women who are considering using it for their babies.  It means "SON of Allen" anyway. Not even a good name for a girl.  

  18. Totally Zillah.  That is beautiful.  You can't spit without hitting an Allison.  Zillah is old-fashioned but completely today and unconventional at the same time.  Be brave! Go with Zillah.

    I myself have a very unique name and i've always hated it. everywhere i go i get teased. so i think you should go with Alison.

  25. If you want the kid to go through life being called Godzilla, go with that one. Otherwise I think Alison is the way to go.
