  1. Walter is more old-fashioned in my opinion.  I'd use it as a middle name before I'd use it as a first name - unless it's a family tradition.

  2. Andrew

  3. Andrew!!! Walter sounds like a whale or a really old British man.

  4. I like Walter because not very commen, but it sounds like an old persons name. But im not a fan of andrew because its to commen.

  5. I like Andrew the best. I think that it is a name that is timeless and very cute!

  7. I do think Walter might be making a comeback!

Andrew is a boring name...personally speaking have never liked it. But it's a lot better than made-up American names!

  8. I like Andrew more. I also like the nickname Drew. Walter would be good if you had a cute nickname like Wally or something. Walter does seem to be more for older people but you may start a trend and bring it back :-)

  11. Andrew is the 11th most common baby name. It's from greek and it means 'man warrior'.

Walter is from old german and it means 'commander of the army'.

I kind of prefer Andrew just because it's such a natural and lovable name. Walter seems a little more restricted and serious.
