Have you thought of "Tamsyn?" It's a varient of Thomasina, I believe, and doesn't sound so stilted. Anne is a nice name, but it's my sister in law's name and I'm not terribly fond of her :)

Thomasina looks like Thomas and either Christina/Cristina/Justina/... mixed together.

It's like the name Joandrew. (Jo + Andrew or Joan + Andrew)

I don't think mixing the parents' names for the baby name is a good idea.
