  1. I love the name Patrick. Someone very special to me is named Patrick, and I also love the story of St. Patrick.

Dominic is a great name too. There is a little boy down the street named Dominic. I would leave out the K though. It makes the name look really heavy!

  2. I like dominic but I like it spelled Domynik

  3. definatley Dominick.

  4. Dominick is better because you  can call him nick and its sounds better than Pat for Patrick.

  5. Dominick. (Patrick is very common)

  6. Dominick :)

  7. Definitely Patrick.

I love both names. Dominic and Patrick have long been some of my favourite names. Dominic sounds dignified: it is a Latin name and has been used for several saints. However, I rather dislike the Dominick variant of the name; it just looks wrong to me. Patrick is handsome, timeless name, and I rather like that spelling.

Even if it was a choice between Dominic (my favourite spelling) and Patrick, Patrick would still win. While Dominic is lovely, at the moment it is peaking in popularity. Dominic currently ranks at #85. On the other hand, Patrick is declining in popularity, and currently ranks at #116.

Another name you may like: Frederick.

  8. Dominick because it very seldom used, and you always hear a child called Patrick. This is a special name for a special child given to you by God! His name should be as special as he will be. Congratualtions!

  9. Dominick is a great name! Patrick is really older sounding.

    Hope I helped!

  10. Defiantly Dominick.

  11. Patrick

  12. Dominick!

Patrick Dominick is a good name!

  13. I like both of those names.... the only setback is if people were to give Patrick the middle name of Pat which I don't like.... Paddy is okay...

Dominick I only like spelt Dominic.

Either of those names are good strong sounding names

  14. Dominick the Donkey

Patrick -- sponge bob square pants

  15. Patrick.

  16. hmmm... patrick if youre going to say the full name

but shortened..... i prefer Dom over pat

  17. Dominic, spelled without a K. That is the traditional spelling of the name, and everybody will expect it to be spelled like that. The extra K is completely unnecessary. It sounds the same, so why would you add another letter just for fun? "No, my name is Dominick, with a K". He'll have to say that a million times in his life!

  18. DOMINICK!!

I LOVE that name. I am in the process of convincing my hubby to let us name our son [due in a few weeks!] Dominic Joseph! =] Good, strong name. Patrick isn't a bad choice either tho.

  19. dominick and patrick are nice but what about leonardo is really cool name

  20. Patrick definitely

  21. Dominick

  22. I think Dominick is nice. However, it would depend on the middle name and the last name. I think the spelling should be Dominic. I could see why some people are telling you to shorten the name Dominick to Nick because of the spelling. Although Nick is short for Nicholas. Patrick is kind of out dated.

  23. I think that Patrick is the better name. Dominick is a little overated for me. And Patrick is a perfect name that lasts a lifetime!

  24. Definitely Dominick

  25. Dominick!

  26. Dominic - Patrick just sounds sooooo Irish, so it's weird if you're not Irish.
