I prefer Michael.  Gabriel is a nice name, but it is a little too biblical for me.  (Michael is biblical too, but it is used so much that that it isn't too religious.)  I also don't really like the nickname Gabe.

I like them both, I like Gabriel better because there are so many Michaels.  Gabriel was one of the choices I had it narrowed down to for my son.

I like Gabriel. I have known way too many guys named Michael. In my family alone there is about 3 or 4.

I like them both a lot. They are both very nice biblical names. If I had to pick though I would go with Michael. It's my dad, brothers, and grandpas name so I might be a little partial=D I think Micahel Gabriel is a very good name. Michael Ryan is a great name too.
