Lestat is a boy name pronounced Lea Stat. It is a character from Anne Rice's Interview With The Vampire and The Vampire Lestat.

Apple is a female name is and said like the fruit. If you don't know what an Apple is, then go back to 1st grade.

no offense but its meant for a fruit not a person.

like imagine ur at the supermarket and ur kids name is apple.

and u start calling him/her

"Apple! Apple! where r u!"

It is a draw between Lestat and Apple for me. Naming a child either of these is like slapping the child in the face. Like the saying goes "In your face!" Some names are good, others are great--both of these names are weird on a human.

I guess I am alone here in my belief that Apple is a cute name when you think of "Apple of my eye".

Lestat would remind me of the vampire, so I find that a creepier name to give a child.

Gwyneth Paltrow named her daughter Apple.  I think both names are weird but many people look for usual names so its up to you!

I think they are both really stupid. A boy named Lestat will spend his life either getting beat up or explaining it... or both.

Apple is something you name your daughter if you hate her and didn't want her.
