Which name should we pick for our little girl?

My husband and I have had a really hard time naming our second daughter (I am 8 months pregnant). The three names that we like best right now are Reagan, Scarlett, and Arielle. Which do you like best and why? Thanks!!

I love Scarlett and Reagan is very sweet, too! Arielle makes me think of that Disney character, which tells me that her peers may poke fun at her later in life. Good luck to you on naming that second daughter. We had such a tough time with it, because we just couldn't agree!

Scarlett, because not many people have that name, arielle is like the name katie, every person is named that! But Scarlett is very beautiful and it sounds old fashion, I wish I had a old fashion name.

Arielle is the name of a friend of mine. She actually has many probs and is on ton of meds like adirol and ridalin. She is suicidal, a drug addict, and very disturbed. We met in 5th grade when she was normal.

Reagan is the name of a boy who had a crush on me that became an obsession. He would send me flowers everyday to my office and I eventually had to put a restraining order on him. He was very strange.

Lastly, Scarlett is a girl that lived a town over from me who had a horrible reputation. She slept with every guy in my school. At age 17, she had a babysitter because she would not stop sleeping around. I found out about her after my boyfriend of 2yrs cheated on me with her.

For these reasons, I do not approve of any of the names.

I like your names, we just had a baby and we named her Lucy.  I don't like the standard names.

I would say name her Scarlett, it is a pretty name and it is not something you hear often.

Arielle is nicest of your picks. Scarlett is next. In fact - Arielle Scarlett is very pretty! I don't like Reagan, but I do like Megan and Tegan. Oh and Shelby. Don't know why but it has a similar feel to me as Reagan.

You could always wait until she's born to see if she looks more like a Reagan, a Scarlett, or an Arielle.  My brother-in-law and his wife did that when they were having a hard time picking out names for one of their daughters.

Scarlett is so elegant and pretty!  Not overused either!  

My daughter's name is Avalon.  If we have another girl, we've chosen Aria.  We want names that are different that you don't hear everyday.  Out of your choices (with my humble opinion only) I would go with Scarlett.  I haven't heard anyone with that name in a long time.

Scarlette sounds beautiful and peacuful. I like that the best. Second choice will be Reagan, but Meagan is nicer. Good luck!

Scarlett, because it doesn't age, it's very pretty and elegant name, and very individual.

Reagan, I feel, is more of a women's name rather than a baby's, which could take a lot of growing into.

Arielle is quite a childish name and though is very sweet for a little girl, isn't so good for a woman. I do like the name though, but it reminds me of the little mermaid. The shortened version, 'Elle' is nice though.

I think all of the names I lovely for different reasons.

Scarlett is stylish and edgy, but also classic.

Reagan and Arielle are a little more unique, but equally beautiful.

Personally, I like Reagan best, but that's simply because, to me, it sounds the most unique, while still being lovely.

I do love the name Scarlett though, and I am considering naming my own child Scarlett. It can suit any gorgeous little girl, as it can be an edgy, stylish name, but can also be a classically beautiful and elegant name.

Choose which one your gut instincts point you towards. Afterall, you'll know what to call your little girl once you see her for the first time. As soon as she opens her eyes you'll know what to name her - I promise!
