Which names do you like for my cat?

I happen to like 'Kuroi ame'...it's going with your "night rain" thing, only it's Japanese for 'Black Rain'......black, dark, night....same thing, and it's kind of cool sounding:)

I personally think it depends on features...

If your cat is a gray, white, or something in that region, call it Gina.

If your cat is very active, playful, or energetic, call it Aishe.

If your cat is calm, relaxed, and or gentle, call it Amaya.

You see, in my opinion, it all depends on the features, the characteristics, and the personality of my animals... For instance, my oldest dog is a reverse brindle Boxer, and so instead of brown with black stripes, he is black with few brown stripes. His name is Harley. (motorcycle)

Don't just look at the name and say, "ooh, that sounds pretty!" Sure, it is a way to go by the sound of the name, but I think you should look into what the meaning of the name reminds you of.

If Aishe means Alive, then it reminds me of being active, energetic, hyper... therefore, alive.

If Amaya means night rain, then it reminds me of the trickle of rain at night, how soothing and relaxing it is, and how it calms me down.

If Gina means silvery, it basically reminds me of color... This one you would have to base on the color of your cat.

In the end, it's all up to you. (: Hope this helps a little.

I would have to say amaya......it sounds more like a cats name than the others. the others sound like people names. plus night rain sounds like a cat.
