  1. Chauncey Billups bounced around in the league, like 5 teams in the beginning of his career, like the nuggets, t-wolves, celtics, until he found his niche on the detroit pistons and has since become one of the best point guards in the nba.

Gilbert Arenas- went really far in the draft until he got picked, and no one really saw him become the player that he is today!

You just have to believe in yourself man! Don't let anyone tell you that you can't play in the nba. Just work hard on your game and hopefully you will make it one day! Good luck

  2. Steve Francis, he never really shined out in HS, in fact, he only played until his Soph. year(and only started once) but he turned out to be good in Maryland. then an above-average NBA player (minus the injuries would've been a great player, but he was a 3time allstar).

  3. Jamaal Tinsley is a good example.  He NEVER played high school basketball.  In fact, he DROPPED OUT of high school.  His only basketball experience was playing streetball.  Realizing dropping out was a mistake, Tinsley earned his GED and made the roster of a JUCO team.  After 2 years of JUCO ball, transferred to Iowa State, 2 years later get drafted into the NBA and the rest is history.  If a high school dropout streetballer like Tinsley can get in the NBA, that's a good lesson that anyone can get a shot at the bigtime if they work their butt off.

  4. Ok.

There was once a boy who thinks he is good. He is a division 3 level college baller. And he was searching for a story that would give him hope in making the NBA. But the real thing is he sucks and he will suck throughout his college basketball career. But he will make it in the NBA.....as a 12th man for the Clippers.

    End of story.

  5. I dunno what you mean !

  6. -Gilbert Arenas. His jersey number tells the story.

-Michael Redd. I don't know how he can go so deep in the draft and turn out to be a franchise player.

-Yao Ming. Watch The Year of the Yao.

-Monta Ellis. A d-league success story (still, I hate the warriors, I'm a Mavericks fan)

  7. Jamario Moon. He went over seas, D-League, canadian league, you name it... i dont know if he sucked he just NEVER GAVE UP he NEEDED to make it to an NBA roster look at what teams he played for:

    2001: Milwaukee Bucks summer-league team

    2001-02: Mobile Revelers (NBDL)

    2002: Dodge City Legend (USBL)

    2002: Philadelphia 76ers mini-camp

2002: Los Angeles Lakers summer-league team

    2002: Utah Jazz summer-league team

    2002-03: Mobile Revelers (NBDL)

    2003-04: Huntsville Flight (NBDL)

    2004: Oklahoma Storm (USBL)

    2004: Harlem Globetrotters

    2004: Rockford Lightning (CBA)

    2004: Kentucky Colonels (ABA)

    2005: Rome Gladiators (WBA)

    2005: Fort Worth Flyers (NBDL)

    2005-06: Albany Patroons (CBA)

    2006: Marietta Storm (WBA)

    2006: Fuerza Regia Monterey (Mexico)

    2006: Gary Steelheads (USBL)

    2006-07: Albany Patroons (CBA)

    2007: Toronto Raptors (NBA)

So finnaly he made it to an NBA roster and is currently signed with the Toronto Raptors... He has one of the best NBA stories.
