Which new car should I get?

I am trying to choose between the 2008 vw new beetle, mazda 3 sedan, hyundai elantra, or toyota yaris? Thanks, this will be my first car...

mazda3 most fun to drive

Elantra most practical, less expensive

VW beetle: nightmare, cute but terribly unreliable.

back seat torture chamber

Toyota Yaris: noisy unrefined engine, bad brakes, poor Hwy ride, annoying center mounted gauges.

look at the Honda Fit

standard all power accessories, ABS brakes and side curtain air bags.

also the Kia Rondo

i would consider looking at an american car, it will be better for our economy

I test drove the Yaris today and I fall in love.Surprisingly enough room great fuel economy  and great look.
