  1. Journey to the Center of a v****a; Moist Sticky

  2. Tess of The D'Ubervilles I think.

Lady Chatterly's Lover is what the person above me is making fun of :)

  3. The Rainbow...it's long, but very worthwhile

  4. _Women in Love_ is the fullest expression of Lawrence's complex views on industrialization, its inhibiting effects on humans, and the various connections established between people.

_Sons and Lovers_ used to be the thought his most "successful" novel, but it seems to me overlong.

_The Rainbow_ seems to me less neatly worked out than _Women in Love._ I'm very fond of _Lady Chatterly's Lover,_ but it's more of a beautiful, primitive fable and seems less many-sided and rich than _Women in Love_ or _The Rainbow._

Haven't read: _Kangaroo_ or _The Lost Girl._

Thought _The Plumed Serpent_ obvious and over-long, and _Aaron's Rod_ a mistaken use of DHL's gifts.
