4) Joel Casamayor vs. Michael Katsidis

Cotto-Margarito-

The only fights i get emotionally involved in is Kelly Pavlik, but this one me and my buddies were shouting at the TV, jumping up and down..I was tired when it was over

as much as i like pacquiao, i'll go for cotto and margarito, it was just exciting to watch, cotto had some good shots, margarito had more shots and kept moving forward. good fight!!!!

I saw all fights.  I was not cheering as often on all fights.  

This is how i cheered on those fights.

Manny vs. jmm 2: Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! (when the knock out came)  h**l yeah!!!!!!!!!!! (h**l yea when the bell rang because i knew manny won that round)

cotto vs rito oh shoot! (wasnt that excited) punches didnt hurt, moving around too much.  Knock out came i was like awww man... I picked cotto.. everyone else reactions= YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it was crazy... but fight was slow paced for like a lot of rounds.  

vasquez vs. marquez was amazing... i was like oh ah ee ooooo........................!!!!!!  Truly extraoridinary.... Great fight... Action pack the whole time, knockdowns after knockdowns...

i didnt get to see casamayor vs. katsidis so i don't want to judge dat one... solly...... so my rank will be

Margarito VS Cotto. Def. I was just an exciting match to watch, it also had it lots of action.It didnt have one boxer running away from the other,really an excellent fight. So yeah def this fight, hands down.

The Cotto - Margarito fight was no doubt the best fight this year, even though i hated the end result (im a big cotto fan) the fight was good, and you have to respect both boxers for puting on a good show, and showing people what boxing is all about.

Everyone saying Cotto-Margarito must have either not seen Vasquez-Marquez, or is too blinded by their love for Cotto or Margarito to think objectively.

Cotto-Margarito was more in the public eye, certainly, and a classic battle of styles, but as far as a great fight goes, it's nowhere near Vasquez-Marquez (or Casamayor-Katsidis, for that matter).

Pacquiao-Marquez was another great style match-up, and certainly deserving of being on the list, but couldn't measure up to the intensity and drama of fights # 3 and 4.
