  1. Middle Game. Knowing how to gain the upper hand during this stage is difficult and there are fewer resources for the middle game than the openings and the end game.

  2. The opening. I think of it as the hardest part of Chess since you don't know exactly whether if what you're doing is right or wrong, and it affects greatly the rest of the game.

  3. The middle game is the hardest for me, it used to be the end game but I spent so much time working on my end game my middle game suffered. My opening theory is still pretty strong as I always study it.

  4. Personally, I have found that my endgame needs the most work. I tend to focus less on the specific analysis and act on instinct, which is very bad in the endgame where specific analysis is a necessity, and a gift.

Openings are easy enough, knowing the general rules and most of the popular openings can carry you far. The middle game I am also fond of, because I like thinking more strategically, moving my game towards an attack in the middle game with endgame advantages hoping for. Sad to say, I have sometimes lost endgames, however, in which I have gained the upper hand in the middle game.
