  1. I have encountered Buffalo and they are by far the most lethal - they know they are BIG and they have a bad temper on them...

It's almost as if they know I have been eating their cousins!!!

  2. None of them! Why should I be loathe to encounter any of them?

  3. Leopard.

  4. I almost got run over by an elephant yesterday in the Hluhluwe Game reserve, I've never seen my little car reverse like that.......

  5. Elephants , the fat b@rstards destroy all the carrot fields...

  6. African elephant (Lox- odonta africana).

d**n those things can get agro, keep away from the cows when they have PMS

  7. Buffalo

  8. I love them all Hennie, or do you mean when I am walking alone in the bush, lost and bleeding after I parachuted by accident into a game reserve? Well then the Lion....I will &^%$ myself when I see one face to face.

  9. Lion, i think  -  they are all dangerous

  10. I have been chased by a Rhino and an Elephant.

The Rhino; I was on foot and ran for my life. One of those ‘sneaking up as close as possible, in order to get a photo taken of yourself, almost hugging a Rhino’ I have a picture of it somewhere, the look on my face is priceless.

The Elephant (Kruger National Park); I was a passenger in a car with my cousin driving. She is cripple (but does not really know it and has adapted to driving a normal car by using her one arm to lift her legs and the other to drive. It works perfectly; she has been driving for many years. It was her car)

We saw Elephants so she stopped the car, turned off the engine, and we casually had a look at the Elephants in the bush. One huge guy, with tusks, decided that we are the enemy. He trumpeted and started stampeding towards us. Now anybody else would have probably struggled to start the car, put it into reverse gear and REVERSE the h**l away from the guy, under those circumstances. But she had to start the car, coordinate her arms and legs and gears, while both of us were shouting and giggling hysterically. She managed at the very last moment. What a beautiful memory.

Oddly enough I have strolled and swum around Hippopotamus in St Lucia. They are meant to be very dangerous but they just ignored me.
