  1. Depends. A, C, and E are certainly not salts, because they are covalent compounds (and a salt needs to be ionic.) Some people define a salt as an ionic compound whose anion is neither hydroxide (OH-) or oxide (O2-). If this is the case then only B is a salt. If however you define a salt as any ionic compound, then B and D are both salts.
