    b. false, carbonic anhydrase catalyzes the rxn CO2 + H2O <--> H2CO3 <---> HCO3-  + H+.  very little CO2 binds to Hb and it does is without carbonic anhydrase.

    c. No, about 90% of CO2 is in the form of bicarbonate (HCO3-) in the cell.  20% is way too big

    d. False.  very little CO2 is carried as carbaminoHb
