  1. I'm not 100% certain, but, I would say e :  as long as you don't lower the temp below the boiling point, decreasing it won't decrease the rate of vaporization.

    a - increasing size of molecule increases the weight and increases the energy required for vaporization

    b - closing the container lid would cause solution that does vaporize to condense and fall back into the solution

    c - decreasing the surface area decreases the absorbing heat energy for vaporization and decreases the area from which molecules can be vaporized

    d - increasing forces between the molecules would increase the energy required to separate the molecules making vaporization more difficult
