Is it SeCl4, XeF4, SiF4 or,SF4? I need help on my chem questions!!

  1. XeF4 seems to e the right choice. All the others will have lone pairs of electrons around them, and will therefore not be tetrahedral when it comes to molecular geometry. Tetrahedral structures are the ones with bond angles of 109.5 degrees. Xe is inert, so XeF4 would probably be the right choice.


  2. I think they all do. I'm not sure. Is 109.5 for a tetrahedron?

  3. SiF4 because Si has 4 valence electron.
